Wood from renovations, which is typically sent to Woodcircles partner IREN’s facility in Vercelli for transformation into pallets, was instead repurposed through the project. These pallets were ingeniously turned into an art installation for the Paratissima exhibition, later dismantled and reassembled into furniture for a kindergarten—demonstrating the versatility and impact of circular design in real-world applications.
We spoke with Laura Ribotta, from the City of Turin – Department of European Funds and PNRR, about this practical example of the circular economy principle.
