The capacity-building program continues | Tartu: First online session

As part of the WOODCIRCLES capacity-building and training programme, this first online session launches a dedicated series designed to help Tartu's local stakeholders advance wood circularity in practice.

During the event, participants will benefit from insights and hands-on expertise shared by WOODCIRCLES partners on key topics such as upcycling wood waste, assessing the sustainability impacts of recovered wood, and applying wood reuse and engineered wood products in construction. The session will also highlight policy measures that can support wood-waste upcycling, drawing on best practices and examples from local, national, and international contexts.

The capacity-building activities are specifically addressed to local actors and stakeholders in each pilot city, including relevant public authorities, businesses, designers and construction professionals working on wood reuse, circular construction and local circular value chains. Therefore, these sessions are not public.
