As World Green Building Week 2026 puts the spotlight on the future of the built environment, the WOODCIRCLES project is bringing circular construction principles to life with the first full installation of its Travelling Demonstrator in Tartu, Estonia.
The Woodcircles Travelling Demonstrator has arrived in Tartu, Estonia, marking the first stop of its journey across Europe. Installed in front of the Estonian National Museum (ERM), the full-scale wooden structure brings the principles of circular construction to life and invites visitors to explore how buildings can be designed for reuse rather than demolition. The launch marks an important milestone for the project, bringing years of research, collaboration and innovation into a tangible experience that demonstrates how circular approaches can transform the future of timber construction.
